Designed to satisfy the white space in Glad & Young Studio’s product line, the Jenna Bag is a chic and elegant accessory with a compact profile, versatile enough for everyday wear and dressier occasions.
The bag is crafted with vegetable tanned leather which is naturally stiff and supports an architectural silhouette. This leather is often used by the brand to showcase its hand marbling technique.
For The Jenna Bag, the marbling is produced in a signature combed style which distinguishes it from the brand’s other offerings.
The bag is designed with two interchangeable strap lengths for enhanced function and practicality.
THE DESIGN STAGE
The initial sketches were born from a desire for a streamlined, architectural silhouette made from vegetable tanned leather. This leather provides the rigidity that the silhouette requires while also having the capability to be hand marbled — a defining characteristic of the company’s ethos.
